Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how seojq collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our SEO testing, search monitoring, analytics, and reporting services.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, workspace details, billing status, and support messages.
- Product configuration data such as connected sites, projects, tracked keywords, page groups, tests, reports, and notification preferences.
- Usage data such as login events, feature usage, device and browser information, IP address, and diagnostic logs used to keep the service reliable and secure.
Google API usage
- When you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics 4, seojq requests only the permissions needed to read SEO and analytics data for the properties you authorize.
- Google Search Console data may include sites, pages, queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position. Google Analytics data may include property, traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- We use Google API data to provide dashboards, SEO tests, monitoring, alerts, and reports inside seojq. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it except as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect users.
- seojq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and disclosure of Google user data
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising, marketing, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
- We may share Google user data with trusted infrastructure, hosting, database, monitoring, security, and support service providers only when necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide seojq. These providers are contractually required to process the data only on our behalf and only according to our instructions.
- If you use seojq as part of a team or workspace, Google Search Console or Google Analytics data may be visible to other users in the same workspace based on the permissions configured by the workspace owner or administrator.
- We may disclose Google user data if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, seojq, or the public.
- If seojq is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, Google user data may be transferred only as part of that transaction and subject to continued privacy protections.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless it is necessary for security purposes, legal compliance, support requested by the user, or internal operations necessary to provide and improve user-facing features.
- seojq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- We use collected data to operate seojq, authenticate users, sync authorized integrations, calculate SEO testing outcomes, generate reports, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability.
- We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand product performance, but this data does not identify individual users or customer sites.
Data retention
- We retain account and workspace information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- Integration data is retained only as long as needed for the connected workspace, reporting history, legal obligations, security, backups, and dispute resolution.
- If you disconnect a Google integration or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify associated data unless retention is required by law, billing, security, or backup obligations.
User rights and choices
- You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information.
- You can revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings or by disconnecting the integration in seojq.
- You may contact us to object to processing, restrict processing, or ask questions about privacy practices, subject to applicable law.
Security
- We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and disclosure.
- No internet service is perfectly secure, so we also encourage customers to use strong passwords, least-privilege Google access, and appropriate workspace permissions.
